Skylink garage door opener with many other options

Skylink Garage Door Openers are a part of the Skylink group. The Skylink group specializes in wireless technology.  The company has been established since the early 1990’s. The company is active in several areas including, Brampton, Ontario, Canada, Ontario City, California, The Broad US markets, Hong Kong, and China. Their major production facilities are located in Canada, China, and Hong Kong. The group combines all the wireless systems in the home to one main system to maximize safety. This company faced a lawsuit from the Chamberlain group, although they were not found guilty. The lawsuit referred to the “rolling code” technology. The case is currently under appeal. The system Skylink uses is a 4-in-1 and includes CO (carbon monoxide triggered) door openers. This safety feature makes the garage door open automatically if the CO level within the garage is beyond the safety limit (by opening it enables ventilation).  There is also an automated door closer, you can specify when you want your door to close from anywhere between 2 minutes to 20 minutes after you’re no longer walking in and out of it. It also includes an audio warning before it closes. The system also includes rolling code remote control technology, similar to the Intellicode from Genie garage door openers. The unit also includes a keyless entry system, letting you open your door with a password. The Skylink Garage Door Opener is also easy to install utilizing a control panel instead of a wall button. No power adaptor or battery is required. There’s also no additional wiring. The aforementioned system is standard on garage door openers available by Skylink. The remote control systems are popular on the internet, they get very high ratings from reviewers unfortunately, there aren’t that many reviews for the actual door openers. The few that are available mention some great functional features such as the quiet motor and ease of use. In 2009 Skylink group released a series of Skylink Garage Door Openers that were supposed to be “easy and quiet.” The series is denoted by the “EQ” followed by the model number. Skylink is also somewhat cheaper than other major competitors such as sears, genie, and LiftMaster garage door openers. The systems start out at around $120 but for many are worth the price. When researching garage door openers your not going to run into too many brands that don’t have amazing openers with a suite of fantastic features, no you will run into the same problem most run into when getting a cell phone – you will want an all inclusive unit but some features you can get on one unit won’t be available on another so it will be about figuring out what dominate features you need the most!
